First Stop: St. Thomas

Our first stop was Megans Bay! I cant even begin to describe how beautiful it is. There are no words. I will let the pictures speak for themselves.

It was a fun filled day of swimming and soaking up the sun. I was completely entertained by Randall and Jeremy's "sand castle". Lets see if you can guess what they are making in the sand.

They got a few comments about the mountainous peaks being "fake". "Real peaks lay to the side" one lady said. It was pretty funny.

On our way back to the boat we were able to get some more beautiful pictures. The views here are pretty amazing. That is our cruise ship. Its huge!

The whole gang!

So here we are all dressed up and ready for dinner. I enjoy dressing up and going out so this was an extra treat.

My face it totally burned. Well, pretty much my whole body got burned. I haven't seen sun in a while and it didn't help that I have red hair and fair skin. Jared is the same way but he was smart and reapplied the sunscreen often but I think he still got a little burn on his face.

Here we are relaxing to some music and goofing off while waiting for the nightly entertainment to start.

Why are there pictures of my nose!? Jared!!

Megans Bay panorama

I stayed up late last night trying to merge some of the pictures together for panoramas. Some didn't work out too well unfortunately.

This is a great view of Megans Bay in Saint Thomas from an overlook.

Yep.. we were there.

Bon Voyage

This is day 2! Brandy and Jeremy didn't want to get out of bed. Rumor has it, Jeremy and Randall stayed up until 2 am watching the Jazz game. I guess it was worth it because they won!

Boarding the ship went quick and was pretty easy. We were there a few hours early to try and miss the rush. I had no idea what I was doing so I just followed everyone else.

I find it funny that the first place we went to check out was the buffet area. Brandy needed to know where the ice cream machine was. They had some pretty awesome food sculptures to welcome us aboard. I took a few pictures of my favorites.
We went to check out our rooms next. It was bigger then I thought and the bed was pretty comfortable. Although, I think that was the smallest shower ever invented. No matter. It was sufficient. Here's Jared checking out the couch.

Lunch Time!!!

We wanted to check out the whole ship to see all it had to offer and we ran into a mini golf course. I can't remember who won but Jared got a hole-in-one. Congratulations Stinky!

We eventually made it up to the 12th floor and found what Jared and I call the "View Point". Only because we don't know the real name or if there even was one. You could see all the way down to the 4th floor and it was freaky. Melissa is the most brave out of all of us and was the first to climb on. Brandy held her leg just in case it wasn't safe. Eventually we all climbed on and tried not to freak ourselves out.

The Dining room was next on our list. We dined at the Reflections Dining Room every night and it was delicious. This was our first experience. Remember: Don't eat the flowers!

Brandy was a little worried (for no reason) about all the food she was going to be eating on the trip so we had to check out the weight room next. The boys started showing off their muscles with the 1 pound pink weights. Nice! Caution: Slightly inappropriate picture below.

I know, I know...Almost done!
Basketball was our next stop. The boys were able to shoot a few hoops before we left San Juan.

"ALL ABOARD!" It is time to go. We ran to the back of the ship to say Bon Voyage to beautiful San Juan. I'm not really sure what I am saying in the video. I am such a dork sometimes but I think Brandy takes the cake on dorkness in the picture below.

Jared likes to take random pictures of my face. I am not sure why but I let him do it anyway.

So, if you have ever been on a cruise before you know there there are lots of fun activities that go late into the night. Unfortunately, I didn't put my motion sickness patch on early enough and not long after we took off I started feeling sick. I spent the rest of the first night in our room asking Jared if he would make the boat stop. I learned my lesson and doubled up on the patch and dramamine pills the rest of the trip.

Twilight Lovers!!

I almost forgot!!!! Twilight comes out tonight at midnight. Yeah!

San Juan, Puerto Rico

I cant believe Jared and I finally went on a cruise. Brandy has been bugging us for years. Brandy, I hope you are satisfied! Since I can only sit for so long, I will be blogging about our cruise over the next few days so check back often.

The Flight -
Alright! I am not a big fan of flying but only because I get motion sickness. So here we are waiting for our midnight flight and I am a little drugged. The Johnson's and McKay's left about an hour before Jared and I did but we were able to snap a picture before they had to go. Not much excitement here.

Once we got to San Juan we easily caught up to the rest of the gang and went to our hotel. After we checked in we went on a little tour of the city. We found this delicious restaurant named Piu Bello. Excellent food and the best ice cream. I think we all agree that Jeremy's Passion Fruit and Mango double scoop was to die for.

Why does Jared never smile?

Next we went to the Ocean Park Beach (at least I think that was the name) and played in the sand. Randall even showed us a few Kenpo moves.

After all that we went back to the hotel and goofed around. I dont think we took pictures of that. Well anyway, we got hungry (again) a little later so we went out to eat at a place called Boolchands Dockside. It was pretty good Mexican style food and yet again we did not take any pictures.

Once back at the hotel we all wanted to shower and relax. Jared and I showered first because I take the longest apparently. Come to find out, while showering, our camera was stolen by some hoodlums and they took some pictures. Crazy people!

I have a lot more but couldn't post them all. So that is the first day of our trip in a nut shell. Enjoy the pictures and I will see you next time.
